Resonances for Microstrip Transmission Lines
SIAM Journal on Applied Mathematics, 2004Summary: We rigorously derive asymptotic formulae for resonances associated with a microstrip transmission line mounted on a planar waveguide with variable electromagnetic characteristics when the width of the line goes to zero.

Microstrip resonators for electron paramagnetic resonance experiments
Review of Scientific Instruments, 2009In this article we evaluate the performance of an electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) setup using a microstrip resonator (MR). The design and characterization of the resonator are described and parameters of importance to EPR and spin manipulation are examined, including cavity quality factor, filling factor, and microwave magnetic field in the ...

Losses in microstrip resonators
International Journal of Electronics, 1976The effects of radiation losses on the microstrip resonator have been investigated in detail. The ratio of the power radiated to power loss in the microstrip has been theoretically calculated using a modified relation for the characteristic impedance and effective dielectric constant.
