Mutual Coupling Reduction of Microstrip MIMO Antenna Using Microstrip Resonator

Wireless Personal Communications, 2020
In this paper, we describe a novel approach to reduce the mutual coupling between two adjacent microstrip MIMO antennas by using resonator structure. The basic microstrip patch antenna is operated at 5.9 GHz, and the center to center distance between two adjacent antenna elements is kept 0.46λ0.

Resonances for Microstrip Transmission Lines

SIAM Journal on Applied Mathematics, 2004
Summary: We rigorously derive asymptotic formulae for resonances associated with a microstrip transmission line mounted on a planar waveguide with variable electromagnetic characteristics when the width of the line goes to zero.

Microstrip resonators for electron paramagnetic resonance experiments

Review of Scientific Instruments, 2009
In this article we evaluate the performance of an electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) setup using a microstrip resonator (MR). The design and characterization of the resonator are described and parameters of importance to EPR and spin manipulation are examined, including cavity quality factor, filling factor, and microwave magnetic field in the ...

Folded microstrip resonator

IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest, 2003, 2003
A compact concertina shaped microstrip ring resonator, referred to here as a 'folded ring' resonator is shown to behave analogously to a microstrip annular-ring resonator. The folded ring resonator resonates at identical resonant mode frequencies as the annular-ring resonator, which is designed to operate at the same fundamental mode frequency and when
