Carbon Nanotube 3D Integrated Circuits: From Design to Applications
As Moore's law approaches its physical limits, carbon nanotube (CNT) 3D integrated circuits (ICs) emerge as a promising alternative due to the miniaturization, high mobility, and low power consumption. CNT 3D ICs in optoelectronics, memory, and monolithic ICs are reviewed while addressing challenges in fabrication, design, and integration.

Design of an efficient mid-wave IR fiber optic light source [PDF]
Design of a mid-wave IR broadband (3.1 - 3.8 {\mu}m) fiber-based light source exploiting FWM in a meter long suitably designed chalcogenide microstructured fiber is reported. An achievable gain more than 35 dB is demonstrated.

Analysis and Modeling of Microstructured Fiber Using The Analytical Method Based on The Empirical Equation [PDF]
In this paper, a new class of optical fibers is studied, i.e. microstructured fibers or photonic crystal fibers (PCF). The main objective is to characterize these fibers using different dispersion diagrams and present an interface that enables calculation of various transverse indexes.

Comparison between Capacitive and Microstructured Optical Fiber Soil Moisture Sensors
Soil moisture content has always been an important parameter to control because it is a deterministic factor for site-specific irrigation, seeding, transplanting, and compaction detection. In this work, a discrete sensor that is based on a SnO2–FP (

3D Nano‐architected Polymer Shell Enables Reconfigurable Stabilized Blue Phase Soft Crystals
Spherical polymer shells featuring nanostructure of blue phase (BP) disclinations form via in situ photo‐polymerization within BP liquid crystals, providing controlled anchoring for BP nucleation and growth at room temperature and beyond. This architected confinement enhances BP thermal stability over a broad temperature range while enabling dynamic ...
