open access: yesIsogloss, 2022
Some Romance languages, like Spanish, encode narrow scope indefinite objects without any over determiner (Bare Nouns; como pan ‘I eat bread’), while others, like French, require the insertion of an overt prenominal marker, labeled Partitive Article (PA;

open access: yesCatalan Journal of Linguistics, 2023
The central issue addressed in this paper is the formal linguistic notion of parameter as a predictor for the (non-)occurrence of multiple linguistic phenomena. We start from a parametric analysis of a microvariational data set and we introduce a way of

A defined template mixture of seven closely related 16S-rDNA clones was used in a PCR-cloning experiment to assess and track sources of artifactual sequence variation in 16S rDNA clone libraries. At least 14% of the recovered clones contained aberrations.

Assessing the effect of complex ground types on ground‐dwelling arthropod movements with video monitoring: Dealing with concealed movements under a layer of plant residues

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 12, Issue 7, July 2022., 2022
We present a method to monitor and characterize the movement of ground‐dwelling arthropods in mesocosms with realistic ground covers. The method, based on infra‐red video tracking and trajectory processing, made it possible to track night‐time movements that were partially concealed by plant residues.
