A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

A Sub-Aperture-Based Calibration Algorithm for MIMO Antenna Arrays

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Antennas and Propagation
In order to ensure high-resolution angle estimation results, antenna apertures of radar sensors become large relative to the wavelength. To prevent high sidelobe levels, the number of antennas is constantly increased, generally through the employment of ...

Wideband planar dipole based on dual-layer artificial magnetic conductor

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2019
A wideband planar dipole based on dual-layer artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) is designed. First, the size of dual-layer AMC is reduced by more than half, and the in-phase band is wider than the single-layer AMC.

Effect of terahertz irradiation on DNA damage repair in living cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We investigated the effect of terahertz (THz) wave irradiation on DNA double‐strand break (DSB) repair in living cells. We found that THz irradiation enhanced DSB repair at specific frequencies, whereas heat treatment inhibited it, indicating that this effect is nonthermal and frequency‐specific.
