Engineering a Correlated Narrow‐Gap Semiconductor: Effects of Ga Substitution in EuZn2P2

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The effect of Ga substitution on the electronic, magnetic, and low‐energy responses of the Zintl phase EuZn2P2${\rm EuZn}_2 {\rm P}_2$ is investigated by electrical transport, electron spin resonance (ESR), and terahertz time‐domain spectroscopy (THz‐TDS). Incorporating Ga into EuZn2P2${\rm EuZn}_2 {\rm P}_2$ (EuZn1.8Ga0.2P2${\rm EuZn}_{1.8} {\

Local Order Is Not Enough: Synthetically Accessible Polymers Reveal the Role of Side‐chain Branching Point in Organic Solar Cell and Transistor Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Systematic variation of the side‐chain branching point in a series of donor polymers reveals that moving the branch further from the backbone improves local crystal quality but reduces the overall degree of crystallinity, leading to progressively worse organic solar cell and transistor performance.

Electrically Tuning Electromagnetic Wave Shielding in Phase Engineered 1T/2H‐MoS2‐Based Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Sub‐millimeter‐thick phase‐engineered 1T/2H‐MoS2 structures enable electrically tunable electromagnetic interference shielding through active modulation of microwave absorption and reflection. The coexistence of metallic and semiconducting phases, combined with a PVA/KOH gel electrolyte, provides dynamic control over charge transport and interfacial ...

Thermoelectric p‐Type Iron‐Based Ethylenetetrathiolate Coordination Polymers

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Thermoelectric p‐type ethylenetetrathiolate (ETT) coordination polymers can be synthesized with different central metal compositions. Among the various copper‐ and iron‐based conducting coordination polymers synthesized and studied here, the bimetallic poly[(Cu,Fe)‐ETT] polymer shows the highest room‐temperature Seebeck coefficient of 95 µV K−1 with ...
