Quantum Phase-Slip Junction Under Microwave Irradiation

open access: yes, 2015
We consider the dynamics of a quantum phase-slip junction (QPSJ) -- a dual Josephson junction -- connected to a microwave source with frequency $\omega_\textrm{mw}$.

SMAD4 Palmitoylation Drives a Metabolic‐Transcriptional Circuit to Promote Tumorigenesis and Confers Radiosensitivity in Pancreatic Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies palmitoylation as a novel regulatory modification of SMAD4, mediated by ZDHHC22/APT2. It activates fatty acid synthesis, creating a self‐reinforcing SMAD4–FASN–palmitate feedback loop that drives pancreatic cancer growth and enhances radiotherapy sensitivity.

Bosonic entanglement and quantum sensing from energy transfer in two-tone Floquet systems

open access: yesPhysical Review Research
Quantum-enhanced sensors, which surpass the standard quantum limit (SQL) and approach the fundamental precision limits dictated by quantum mechanics, are finding applications across a wide range of scientific fields.

A Keratinocyte‐Mast Cell NF‐κB2/CXCL2/IL‐6 Amplification Loop Enhances Cutaneous Antifungal Defense Against C. albicans

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Mast cells (MCs), key innate immune sentinels at the host–environment interface, serve as primary responders to invading pathogens. However, their specific contribution to host defense against cutaneous Candida albicans (C. albicans) infection and their synergy with other immune and non‐immune cells remain poorly understood. Here, we show that

Study of Free‐Space Optical Quantum Network: Review and Prospectives

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Free from the constraints of fiber connections, free‐space quantum network enables longer and more flexible quantum network connections. This review summarizes and comparatively analyzes free‐space quantum network experiments based on ground stations, satellites, and mobile platforms.

Design of 3D stacked wideband Wilkinson power divider based on rectangular micro‐coaxial process

open access: yesIET Microwaves, Antennas & Propagation
Based on transmission line theory, a 4‐way wideband coupled‐line Wilkinson power divider is designed by the authors, operating from 6 to 18 GHz. It is established by using a novel manufacturing technology with 3D stacked micro‐coaxial line, realising ...

MG53 Coordinates Macrophage Polarization and Neuroimmune Coupling to Promote Corneal Nerve Regeneration via the MPEG1–MVP–STAT6 Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Corneal nerve regeneration is critical to corneal wound healing processes. The current study reveals a novel role of MG53 in promoting corneal nerve regeneration after alkali induced injury. Mechanistically, MG53 enters macrophages via its receptor, MPEG1, promotes MVP K63 ubiquitination, and triggers STAT6 induced repair‐related genes expression ...

Hierarchical Reconfigurable Metasurface Based on Scenario‐Guided Functional Modules and Programmable Core

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This paper proposes a hierarchical reconfigurable metasurface architecture (HRMA) to achieve comprehensive electromagnetic parameter modulation and on‐demand polymorphic function switching. The reconfigurable metasurface is divided into a programmable core (PC) and scenario‐guided functional modules (FMs), exhibiting significant flexibility and ...

Design of an ultra-wideband flexible optically transparent metamaterial absorber with wide-angle and polarization stability

open access: yesMaterials & Design
In this paper, an ultra-wideband, flexible, and optically transparent metamaterial absorber (MA) is proposed. The MA is devised from an Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) resistive film on a flexible transparent polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate, which ...

Cavity Photons as a Probe for Charge Relaxation Resistance and Photon Emission in a Quantum Dot Coupled to Normal and Superconducting Continua

open access: yesPhysical Review X, 2016
Microwave cavities have been widely used to investigate the behavior of closed few-level systems. Here, we show that they also represent a powerful probe for the dynamics of charge transfer between a discrete electronic level and fermionic continua.
