Novel Functional Materials via 3D Printing by Vat Photopolymerization

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This Perspective systematically analyzes strategies for incorporating functionalities into 3D‐printed materials via Vat Photopolymerization (VP). It explores the spectrum of achievable functionalities in recently reported novel materials—such as conductive, energy‐storing, biodegradable, stimuli‐responsive, self‐healing, shape‐memory, biomaterials, and

3D Metal printed compact high‐Q bandpass filter using folded groove gap waveguide resonator with modified nails

open access: yesElectronics Letters
This paper first presented a novel kind of modified curved nails for building the gap waveguide. By controlling the curved degrees, the realized gap waveguide can achieve a wider electromagnetic band gap range.

Garnets for Microwave Devices.

open access: yesJournal of the Japan Society of Powder and Powder Metallurgy, 1996
The magnetic characterirtics and ferromagnetic resonance linewidth of garnet system {Gdz-Y3-2x-zCa2X}[Fe2-ylny](Fe3-xVx)O12 was investigated as function of x, y, and z. 4 π Ms temperature stability depends on Tmax strongly. Putting Tmax to around 20C, 4 π Ms temperature coefficient α will be as low as 0.05% / °C. In this system, ferromagnetic resonance

Mechanically Stable and Tunable Photoactivated Peptide‐Based Hydrogels for Soft Tissue Adhesion

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A collagen‐like peptide hydrogel platform is developed using supramolecular self‐assembly and light‐triggered crosslinking. It creates mechanically stable, tunable hydrogels with cytocompatibility and biodegradability, making them potential soft tissue adhesives.

Poly(lactic‐co‐glycolic acid) Nanoparticles for IL‐12 Self‐Amplifying RNA Delivery in Glioblastoma Models

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
xxxx. ABSTRACT Glioblastoma (GBM) remains one of the most lethal brain cancers, with median survival rarely exceeding 15 months after diagnosis. Interleukin‐12 (IL‐12) is a potent immunostimulatory cytokine capable of reshaping the tumor microenvironment (TME), yet its clinical translation is hindered by systemic toxicity and short half‐life. RNA‐based

Mesoporous Bioactive Glasses: A Powerful Tool in Tissue Engineering and Drug Delivery

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This work is a comprehensive revision of bioactive glasses (BGs), pioneered by Prof. L.L. Hench, which are key in bone repair and regenerative medicine. Sol–gel methods and mesoporous designs enhanced their bioactivity, ions, and drug delivery. BGs now support gene therapy and 3D‐printed scaffolds, enabling personalized, multifunctional treatments in ...

Enhancing Magnetic Hyperthermia at the Cell Membrane by Anchoring 92R‐Functionalized Magnetic Nanoparticles to Low‐Endocytic CCR9 Surface Receptors

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
We present a strategy to enhance magnetic hyperthermia therapy by modulating nanoparticle–cell interactions. Antibody‐functionalized magnetic nanoparticles targeting the low‐internalizing CCR9 receptor enable spatially controlled membrane anchoring, reducing aggregation and maximizing heat generation under alternating magnetic fields.

Ascertaining Operating Points of Harmonic Transponders Using Intermodulation Responses

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Antennas and Propagation
Harmonic transponders are nonlinear, passive devices that typically receive an interrogation signal at one single frequency and reradiate harmonics. In this work, we propose leveraging the device’s nonlinearity by interrogating with two closely ...
