Microwave Measurement of Respiration

MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest, 2005
A non-contact microwave technique is described which measures respiratory movements of men and animals. The technique is based on the scattering of continuous wave radiation. Results are compared with a thermistor flow transducer for both men and animals, indicating the usefulness of the procedure.

Microwave Measurement Systems

2017
In this chapter, the measurement of common microwave parameters such as RF power, attenuation, and scattering (S-) parameters are explained. An example of automated attenuation measurement is taken in detail in the next chapter based on the understanding acquired through this chapter about the nature of microwave measurements.
