Single‐ and Two‐Mode Squeezing by Modulated Coupling to a Rabi Driven Qubit

open access: yesAdvanced Quantum Technologies, Volume 9, Issue 3, March 2026.
A scheme for the generation of single‐ and two‐mode conditional‐squeezing of quantum harmonic oscillators by modulated coupling to a Rabi‐driven qubit is proposed. Simulations of a circuit QED system employing the scheme predict squeezing of more than 12dB and preparation of a superposition of 4dB squeezed states.

Toward Large Nonradiating Qubits: When Quantum Engineering Meets Photonics

open access: yesAdvanced Quantum Technologies, Volume 9, Issue 3, March 2026.
Nonradiating superconducting qubits suppress radiative losses through photonic‐inspired mechanisms such as anapole states and bound states in the continuum (BICs). This review surveys theoretical foundations and recent implementations of large, wavelength‐scale qubits that confine electromagnetic energy while maintaining coherence.

Tunable Josephson Generator for Qubit Excitation and Two‐Tone Spectroscopy

open access: yesAdvanced Quantum Technologies, Volume 9, Issue 3, March 2026.
A tunable on‐chip Josephson generator that enables direct qubit excitation has been presented. The device consists of a current‐biased Josephson junction and a superconducting resonator, forming a microwave source that operates at 4 K. Excitation of the qubit at 20 mK was done via a short coaxial line between the 4 K and 20 mK stages.
