Fiber Optic Device for the Detection of Adulteration of Olive Oil With Palm Oil

open access: yesMicrowave and Optical Technology Letters, Volume 67, Issue 5, May 2025.
ABSTRACT Adulteration of olive oil with palm oil is studied using an optical fiber probe‐based near‐infrared spectroscopy technique, from which four peaks were identified and explained. Then, the peak at around 1550 nm was selected to design a low‐cost fiber optic device to detect adulteration.

Virtual Frequency‐Resolved Optical Gating Diagnostics for Visualizing Dispersion Dynamics in Ultrashort Laser Pulses

open access: yesMicrowave and Optical Technology Letters, Volume 67, Issue 5, May 2025.
ABSTRACT This study systematically investigates the characterization and analysis of ultrashort laser pulses by simulating the virtual frequency‐resolved optical gating (FROG) setup. Using LabII tools within the LabVIEW environment, virtual experiments were performed to generate ideal ultrashort pulses, introduce controlled phase distortions using ...

Fluorene‐Arylamine Copolymers: Separable Control of Hole Transport and Light Emission Through Composition and Conformation

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, Volume 63, Issue 9, Page 2113-2121, 1 May 2025.
Copolymerization with arylamine initially reduces the mobility of the fluorene homopolymer due to trapping but increases with higher arylamine content, demonstrating that mobility in these copolymers is governed by chemical composition. While fluorene β‐phase conformation plays a minor role in transport, it strongly influences emission.

All‐Solution‐Processable Hybrid Photothermoelectric Sensors with Carbon Nanotube Absorbers and Bismuth Composite Electrodes for Nondestructive Testing

open access: yesSmall Science, Volume 5, Issue 5, May 2025.
Herein, potential of the photothermoelectric (PTE) sensor device is fully maximized by effectively combining carbon nanotube film‐based ultrabroadband absorbers and bismuth composite‐type sensitive thermoelectric‐converting electrodes. Such hybrid PTE sensors are advantageously available via mechanical coating processes or manual painting steps at high
