Middle Jurassic Cyclostome Bryozoans from the Polish Jura [PDF]
New collections of bryozoans from the Middle Jurassic (Late Bajocian and Bathonian) of Poland add significantly to our knowledge of the diversity and biogeography of the Cyclostomata at a time when they were the dominant bryozoan order in the fossil record. A total of 16 species and one form-genus (“Berenicea”) are present.

Abstract Belonostomus longirostrisis was named for an isolated jaw fragment from freshwater Upper Cretaceous (Campanian) sediments of the Dinosaur Park Formation of Alberta, Canada. Following the description of the Albertan species, numerous isolated cranial and postcranial elements have been collected from the Dinosaur Park Formation and assigned to B.

The Altena Group consists mainly of dark argillaceous mudstones deposited between the Rhaetian and the Oxfordian in the Laurasian Sea, an epeiric sea on the northwestern margin of the Tethys Ocean.
