New records of the heteroptera from the Middle Urals
Entomological Review, 201771 heteropteran species belonging to 57 genera of 17 families are recorded for the first time for Sverdlovsk Province (the Middle Urals). Among them, the flower bug Temnostethus longirostris (Horvath, {dy1907}) is new to the Russian fauna; the families Microphysidae, Plataspidae, and Thyreocoridae are recorded for the first time from the Middle Urals.

Bioecological characteristics of segetal flora in the Middle Urals
Russian Journal of Ecology, 2006The data on the biological diversity, bioecological features, and geographic variations of segetal plants in the Middle Urals are presented for the first time. It has been shown that apophytic and anthropophytic groups are equally represented among them. Each group is characterized, and the phytocoenotic activity of segetal plants is considered.
