Middle Permian cephalopods of the Volga-Ural Region

Upper Kazanian (Middle Permian) gastropods of the Volga–Urals Region

Taxonomy and stratigraphy of the Upper Kazanian (Middle Permian) gastropods of the Volga–Urals Region are studied. The collections of A.V. Netchaev, N.N. Yakovlev, and N.A. Golowkinsky are partly revised. The Upper Kazanian gastropod assemblages are shown to be highly endemic and have a specific taxonomic structure.
