Who is to blame? Stories of European Union migration governance in Italian, Maltese, and Spanish newspapers

Genomic signatures of past megafrugivore‐mediated dispersal in Malagasy palms

open access: yesJournal of Ecology, Volume 112, Issue 7, Page 1583-1598, July 2024.

Genomic and environmental insights and conservation challenges for two hybridizing iconic crocodile species across Mexico: Crocodylus acutus and C. moreletii

open access: yesAnimal Conservation, Volume 27, Issue 3, Page 308-323, June 2024.
Understanding hybridization is key for conservation of wild species, yet it is still a controversial issue in conservation. We discern geographic and temporal patterns of introgression, migration, and demography for Crocodylus acutus, C. moreletii, and their hybrid lineages.

Desnacionalización, Regímenes Visuales y Resistencia: Gitanos Americanos en Ciudad de México

open access: yesCultural Anthropology, Volume 39, Issue 2, Page 171-193, May 2024.
RESUMEN La idea de que el carácter de los roma es exterior al flujo de la dinámica de los procesos históricos es un organicismo alienante en México y América Latina, pues los regímenes visuales han reproducido estereotipos culturales y raciales excluyentes sobre ellos.
