REGIONAL PECULIARITIES OF ETHNIC MIGRATIONS IN THE NORTH CAUCASUS

open access: yesНаука. Инновации. Технологии, 2022
The article analyses the trends of migration processes and, primarily, their ethnic aspect, in the North Caucasus at the level of zones and regions. Separately the results of studies on the plains of the North Caucasus, which includes the Krasnodar and ...

Self‐Sintering Ionogel Binder for Flexible, Recyclable, and Healable Printed Giant Magnetoresistive Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Electronic waste has emerged as a major environmental challenge, driven by the massive consumption and a limited lifetime of modern electronic devices, stimulating the development of sustainable electronics. Here, an all‐biomaterial gelatin‐choline‐citric acid ([Ch][CA]) ionogel is developed as an active binder to realize self‐sintered ...

Planet–Planet Secular Migration Predicts a Stellar Obliquity–Period Anticorrelation

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal Letters
Stellar obliquities provide a fossil record of hot-Jupiter (HJ) migration. An emerging observational trend in single-star systems is that strongly misaligned HJs are largely confined to short orbital periods, while longer-period HJs are preferentially ...

Internal migration in Brazil using circular visualization

open access: yesRegional Studies, Regional Science, 2018
In Brazil – a developing country and one that in its last census in 2010 presented a number of five-year interstate migrations of approximately 4.6 million people – the study of internal migration is a complex exercise given the size and diversity of the

Lines and Frames: Architecture in a Period of Migration

open access: yes, 2017
The current state of growing uncertainty, instability and change in the current world has rendered our spatial perceptions blurred, fragmented and contradictory. In a period of substantial geopolitical crisis, uneven economic distribution, and climate change, with a growing number of people in a state of transit from poor and war-torn countries to more

Implantable Ionic Memristors Based on Natural Polymer Heterojunctions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We report an implantable natural polymer‐based ionic memristor composed of hyaluronic acid, chitosan, and PDMS. The device achieved 98.94% accuracy in MNIST classification while reducing training time by 36.8% compared with a conventional artificial neural network (ANN).

Ionic Precursors Transformed Into Vinyl Acetate Synthesis Catalyst via Reaction‐Driven Restructuring

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates that a simple physical mixture of Pd and Au ionic precursors, KOAc promoter, and SiO2 support can transform into a highly active vinyl acetate synthesis catalyst through reaction‐driven restructuring. The results highlight reaction‐induced restructuring as an innovative and sustainable catalyst design strategy.
