Implementation of spectral partition in wave models(波浪数学模型中谱分割功能的应用)

open access: yesZhejiang Daxue xuebao. Lixue ban, 2012

Numerical Modelling of Ballast Water Dispersion in Different Bioregions along the Coast of India

open access: yesASEAN Journal on Science and Technology for Development, 2018
Aquatic organisms and pathogens may become major threats to the coastal and marine environment when introduced into a region beyond their natural distributions through ballast water (BW).

Benthic Environmental DNA Metabarcoding Reveals the Response Mechanism of Metazoan Communities to Artificial Reef Habitats

open access: yesEnvironmental DNA, Volume 7, Issue 5, September–October 2025.
Our study used benthic eDNA metabarcoding to assess metazoan biodiversity, community structure, and network stability in shallow and deep artificial reefs across seasons. Results revealed distinct spatial and seasonal patterns in diversity and co‐occurrence networks, with environmental factors like temperature, nitrite, and DO driving community ...

Can Water Conservancy Project Regulation Mitigate Climate Change‐Induced Degradation of Avian Food Vegetation in Large Floodplain Wetlands?

open access: yesWater Resources Research, Volume 61, Issue 9, September 2025.
Abstract Climate change is projected to induce drought, resulting in the deterioration of avian food vegetation in large floodplain wetlands. The construction of water conservancy project may potentially alleviate this deterioration; however, the combined impact of climate change and water conservancy project regulation on avian food vegetation ...

Research on Water Quality Improvement Method Based on Slowly-Stored and Quickly-Released System in Xi'an Moat

open access: yesRenmin Zhujiang, 2023
The slowly-stored and quickly-released system was studied to explore the method of optimizing the hydrodynamic force of rivers in arid regions and reveal its effect on water quality. The south-west tributary of Xi'an moat was defined as the study area.A ...

Research on Urban Waterlogging Disaster Risk Assessment Based on ARCGIS and MIKE FLOOD – A Case Study on Shijiazhuang [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Risk Analysis and Crisis Response (JRACR), 2015
Urban flood risk assessment supported by accurate and precise modeling could make great contributions to urban flood management. In this paper, an urban drainage system model of Shijiazhuang city was built based on the MIKE21, MIKE URBAN and MIKE 11 ...

Wave‐Influenced Deltas: Growth Through Cyclical Accretion of Barrier‐Spits and the Role of Mud

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Earth Surface, Volume 130, Issue 8, August 2025.
Abstract Wave‐influenced deltas are the most abundant delta type and are also potentially the most at‐risk to human‐caused changes, owing to the effects of wave‐driven sediment transport processes and the relatively short timescales on which they operate. Despite this, the processes controlling wave‐influenced growth are poorly understood, and the role

Adapting to Uncertainty: Knowing Shifting Sands and Blue Infrastructure in Unpredictable Seas

open access: yesGeo: Geography and Environment, Volume 12, Issue 2, July‐December 2025.
Short Abstract This paper interrogates the politics of coastal protection on the southern Indian coast, where hard blue infrastructure often exacerbates erosion and marginalises local knowledges. Drawing on ethnographic fieldwork, it reveals how competing narratives and epistemic injustices shape adaptation strategies and argues for embracing ...

Simulation of Ballast Water Dispersion in the Gulf of Tonkin and Offshore Waters of Hai Phong Port, Vietnam

open access: yesASEAN Journal on Science and Technology for Development, 2018
Transfer of invasive alien organisms and their negative impacts have been recorded around the world. It is estimated that approximately 7,000 species of marine creatures are silently moved around the world by ballast water every hour. Recently, discharge
