Non Thermal‐Driven Photocatalytic Ammonia Decomposition at Near‐Room Temperature on a Plasmonic Nanocone Array

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Plasmonic photocatalytic ammonia decomposition occurs at near‐room temperature on a plasmonic Au nanocone array under visible light illumination. The nanostructure efficiently harnesses plasmonic modes, leading to increased reaction rates upon plasmon decay.

The Functions of Social Interaction in the Knowledge-Creative Economy: Between Co-Presence and ICT-Mediated Social Relations

open access: yesSociologica, 2019
This article investigates the role and functions of interaction among knowledge-creative workers in Milan. While a large body of literature supports the relevance of co-presence for the building of social capital in creative scenes, a growing body of ...

Printed Integrated Logic Circuits Based on Chitosan‐Gated Organic Transistors for Future Edible Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Edible electronics needs integrated logic circuits for computation and control. This work presents a potentially edible printed chitosan‐gated transistor with a design optimized for integration in circuits. Its implementation in integrated logic gates and circuits operating at low voltage (0.7 V) is demonstrated, as well as the compatibility with an ...

Viruses, particles, and other matters in metropolitan Milan

open access: yesUrban Transcripts, 2020
During the onset of the Coronavirus pandemic the Metropolitan City of Milan was Italy’s most affected urban area. While people had to wear a mask to protect themselves from infection, the virus unmasked the long-standing problems of air pollution, which ...

Defect‐Mediated Scintillation in Fully Inorganic Perovskites via Water‐Induced 0D/3D Phase Modulation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A reproducible synthesis to control 3D/0D phase ratios via water‐tuned solvent–antisolvent methods is presented. Enhanced scintillation yield and ultrafast decay are achieved. Defect‐driven emission mechanisms are revealed through cathodoluminescence and radioluminescence, shedding light on the underexplored role of the 0D Cs4PbBr6 and mixed 0D/3D ...

Solving finite-domain linear constraints in presence of the $\texttt{alldifferent}$

open access: yes, 2016
In this paper, we investigate the possibility of improvement of the widely-used filtering algorithm for the linear constraints in constraint satisfaction problems in the presence of the alldifferent constraints. In many cases, the fact that the variables

Bioinspired Bromination Enables Extensible, Strain‐Stiffening Resilin Peptide Scaffolds with Tunable Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Bioinspired bromination of a resilin‐derived peptide enables the fabrication of electrospun nanofibrous scaffolds that uniquely combine strain‐stiffening elasticity, proteolytic stability, and antioxidant functionality. These brominated peptide–gelatin hybrids mimic the extensibility of natural elastomers, demonstrating tunable mechanical resilience ...
