Strong Coupling in Bulk Nanoplasmonic Nanoplatelet Perovskite Scintillators
A bulk scintillating nanocomposite is engineered from CsPbBr3 nanoplatelets and Ag nanocubes to support exciton–plasmon strong coupling under X‐ray excitation. The resulting hybrid polaritonic states appear directly in radioluminescence, opening a route toward polariton‐enabled scintillator design beyond conventional Purcell enhancement.

A combined experimental and simulation study of light‐responsive liquid crystal elastomer surfaces operating under physiological conditions is reported, demonstrating programmable and highly spatially controlled topography formation through bottom‐side photomask exposure. Our study establishes a foundation for dynamic, light‐responsive biosurfaces with

A contractile sheath and rigid tube assembly is a widespread apparatus used by bacteriophages, tailocins, and the bacterial type VI secretion system to penetrate cell membranes. In this mechanism, contraction of an external sheath powers the motion of an

A closed U‐shaped microfluidic platform symmetrically embeds a single, size‐controlled HT29 colorectal cancer spheroid within a GFP‐HUVEC‐laden fibrin matrix. HT29 spheroids are associated with hyper‐branched endothelial network remodeling, while vascularized co‐culture is accompanied by anisotropic protrusive growth and EMT‐like marker changes in the ...

Milano spagnola, Milano ‘borromaica’
A general picture of the Milanese associations in the XVI-XVII Centuries. The religious heritage of the brotherhoods was reshaped in the contest of the catholic renewal promoted by the Archbishop Carlo Borromeo. The changes were added to the stability of the structures and of the ritual forms inherited from the past, at the same time as the religious ...

The crystalline structure, the atomic numbers of the constituent elementsand the size of MOF crystals each influence their photoluminescence and scintillation properties in distinct ways. Together, these factors provide valuable guidelines for designing systems with optimized performance and tunable timing characteristics, arising from the synergistic ...

Primary cultures of neuroblasts isolated from the nucleus basalis of Meynert of 12‐weeks‐old human foetuses were prepared. Whole‐cell patch‐clamp recordings were performed by injecting a depolarizing stimulus current (+500 pA; 500 ms), and the membrane voltage recorded; this stimulus current evoked periodic‐like oscillations in membrane voltage ...
