Vapor‐Phase Synthesis of Potassium‐Doped Polymeric Carbon Nitride Photocatalytic Panels

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Potassium‐doped polymeric carbon nitride (CN) panels are synthesized via a vapor‐phase condensation method over KCl‐coated substrates. Temperature‐controlled growth and K+ incorporation induce cyano‐group defects, enhance light absorption, and improve charge dynamics, leading to superior photocatalytic H2O2 production.

Conversion of Renewable Lignocellulosic Biomass‐Derived Nanocellulose into Graphene via Pyrolysis and High Shear‐Mediated Exfoliation

open access: yesSmall Structures, EarlyView.
This study uses nanocellulose crystals (NCCs) as the precursor for graphene production. The NCCs are pyrolyzed at 500–800 °C and then converted to graphene in the vortex fluidic device using only water as the solvent. The graphene shows a relatively high quality and TEM confirming <6 layers.

Liquid‐Mediated Sintering of SnO2 Scaffolds for Hybrid Integration of Conductive Cu3(HHTP)2

open access: yesSmall Structures, EarlyView.
A versatile strategy for creating hybrid metal–oxide/metal‐organic framework architectures by combining flame spray pyrolysis with liquid‐mediated sintering and vapor‐assisted growth. Porous SnO2 films are transformed into mechanically robust nano–microcluster arrays that are interconnected with conductive Cu3(HHTP)2.
