A Review of the Numerical Investigations of Jet-In-Hot-Coflow Burner With Reactor-Based Models
Moderate or Intense Low-oxygen Dilution (MILD) combustion is considered as one of the most promising novel combustion technologies, as it ensures high efficiency and very low emissions (NOx and CO).

Analysis of Coal Moderate or Intense Low-Oxygen Dilution (MILD) Combustion [PDF]
Moderate or intense low-oxygen dilution offers a great opportunity to reduce harmful pollutants. Besides its wide application for gaseous and liquid combustion, it is also of interest for solid fuels, such as coal. In contrast to gaseous MILD combustion,

Laser Ignition of Bulk Iron, Mild Steel, and Stainless Steel in Oxygen Atmospheres [PDF]
The ignition of pure iron, mild steel S355J, and stainless steel 316L has been investigated. The whole ignition and combustion processes have been monitored using a high-speed video camera and adapted pyrometry.

Numerical study of hydrogen mild combustion
In this article a combustor burning hydrogen and air in mild regime is numerically studied by means of computational fluid dynamic simulations. All the numerical results show a good agreement with experimental data. It is seen that the flow configuration is characterized by strong exhaust gas recirculation with high air preheating temperature.

Large Eddy Simulation of an ethanol spray flame under MILD combustion with the stochastic fields method [PDF]
A combustion device operating in Moderate or Intense Low-oxygen Dilution (MILD) condition is numerically simulated. The burner consists of a cylindrical hot co-flow generator with an injector installed on the central axis.
