Study of Corrosion Performance of Zinc Coated Steel in Seawater Environment [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In this study, the corrosion protective mechanisms of zinc coating for mild steel in seawater were examined using weight loss, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy methods (EIS). Coating is a technique to control the corrosion of a metal by

The Case of a 28‐Year‐Old Man With Gradually Progressive Proximal Leg Weakness

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This is a case of a 28‐year‐old man who presented with a 6‐month history of gradually progressive proximal leg weakness and pain that worsened on exercise and was relieved by rest. He had no symptoms in his upper limbs. Apart from intermittent mild ptosis and diplopia, he had no other cranial nerve symptoms.

Spinal Cord Infarction Versus Idiopathic Transverse Myelitis: Clinical, Radiological, and Functional Insights From a Retrospective Cohort Study

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Spinal cord infarction (SCI) is a rare but devastating myelopathy, characterized by a high disability rate and an unfavorable prognosis. It has often been underdiagnosed and misdiagnosed as idiopathic transverse myelitis (ITM). This study aimed to describe the clinical features, radiological biomarkers, treatments, and functional ...
