Self‐Powered Diamond Homojunction Photodetectors for Stable Ultraviolet Sensing Under High Temperatures

open access: yesElectron, EarlyView.
In this work, we report an unintentionally doped/boron‐doped diamond homojunction ultraviolet photodetector grown by microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition. The device achieves self‐powered ultraviolet detection with negligible performance degradation even at temperatures of up to 250°C.

Gut‐microbiota‐brain Axis and post‐traumatic epilepsy

open access: yesEpilepsia Open, EarlyView.
Abstract There has been growing evidence that perturbations in gut‐microbiota‐brain axis (GMBA) are involved in mechanisms of chronic sequelae of traumatic brain injury (TBI). This review discusses the connection between GMBA and post‐traumatic epilepsy (PTE), the latter being a common outcome of TBI.

Evaluation for Learning in Primary Health Care Organizations: Aspirations, Realities and Lessons From Australia

open access: yesNew Directions for Evaluation, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This article examines tensions between the accountability and learning functions of evaluation through a case study of an evaluation capacity building (ECB) initiative undertaken in an Australian primary health care setting. We describe the ECB approach and strategies and identify enablers and barriers influencing their implementation and ...
