A Chemically Defined Four‐Component Self‐Adjuvanting Tn Vaccine Activating Mincle, FcγR, and CD206 for Enhanced Antitumor Immunity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A fully synthetic four‐component vaccine has been developed combining Tn antigen, vizantin (Mincle agonist), rhamnose (antibody recruitment), and mannose (CD206 targeting). By synergistically activating Mincle, FcγR, and CD206 pathways, it elicits strong IgG switching and cytotoxic T‐cells, significantly inhibiting tumors in mice.

A Bourdieusian Analysis of U.S. Military Culture Ground in the Mental Help-Seeking Literature

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Men's Health, 2017
This theoretical treatise uses the scientific literature concerning help seeking for mental illness among those with a background in the U.S. military to posit a more complex definition of military culture.

STRUCTURAL-SEMANTIC FEATURES OF MODERN PERSIAN MILITARY TERMINOLOGY

open access: yesBulletin of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Oriental Languages and Literatures
Background. Military terminology in the modern era is characterized by constant changes and updating of military concepts in the context of modern military conflicts, technological progress and requirements for accuracy and standardization of the use of terminology. In Iran, military vocabulary permeates the airwaves of radio and television, appears on

Functional Suppression of SCAP Triggers Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress‐Dependent Ferroptosis by Impairing Cholesterol Metabolism in Gastric Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals a novel GC therapy targeting cholesterol homeostasis. Inhibiting the SCAP sterol‐sensing domain causes lethal ER stress via cholesterol accumulation, paradoxically forcing continuous synthesis that triggers ferroptosis. The findings link sterol sensing, metabolic dysregulation, and ferroptosis, establishing an anti‐cancer paradigm ...

REGγ Suppresses Ferroptosis and Induces Drug Resistance by Degrading WDR6 in Chondrosarcoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Here, we identified REGγ as a susceptibility factor in chondrosarcoma. Our study demonstrates that abnormally activated REGγ‐20S proteasome promotes chondrosarcoma development and progression. Further validation in animal models revealed that blocking REGγ function induced ferroptosis, suppressed malignant progression of chondrosarcoma, and uncovered a

Intrinsic Dual‐Phase Regulated GeSe2 Nanoparticles Triggered by Ball‐Milling Treatment for Photonic Multi‐Valued Logic Circuits

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We report the solid‐state ball milling, a traditional, reliable, mass‐productive material processing, to prepare the air‐stable and dual‐phase GeSe2‐x nanoparticles with extended photodetection feasibility toward optical‐wavelength regions. We further display photonic multi‐valued logic (MVL) circuit through the employment of a hybrid PMMA/GeSe2‐x ...

Experimental Evaluation on Blast Resistance of Reinforced Concrete Structures under Partially Confined Explosion

open access: yesInternational Journal of Concrete Structures and Materials
As the risk of accidental explosions at ammunition storage or hydrogen charging station increases in populated area, it is needed to design the facilities against blast loading, particularly subjected to partially confined explosion.

Resolving Oxidative and Corrosive Calendar‐Aging via Electrolyte Engineering for Stable Lithium Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
A weakly solvating ether solvent, 1,2‐dimethoxypropane (DMP), is proposed for use in localized high‐concentration electrolytes (LHCEs) for lithium metal batteries (LMBs). These DMP‐based LHCEs simultaneously suppress lithium metal corrosion and cathode degradation—two interrelated processes that accelerate calendar aging of LMBs.
