Ezh2 Regulates Early Astrocyte Morphogenesis and Influences the Coverage of Astrocytic Endfeet on the Vasculature

open access: yesCell Proliferation, EarlyView.
Ezh2‐deficient astrocytes showed morphologically more slender but sparse dendrites, resulting in reduced endfoot coverage and also causing disruption of the blood–brain barrier. ABSTRACT Astrocytes are crucial for central nervous system (CNS) development and function, with their differentiation being stringently controlled by epigenetic mechanisms ...

YTHDC1 Modulates the Osteogenic Capacity of hPDLSCs via Wnt/β‐Catenin Signalling Pathway for the Treatment of Bone Defects in Osteoporosis Rats

open access: yesCell Proliferation, EarlyView.
In this study, human periodontal ligament stem cells (hPDLSCs) were successfully isolated and cultivated from the periodontal ligament tissues of healthy premolar teeth. Our in vivo experiments demonstrated that YTHDC1 augmented the osteogenic differentiation capacity of these cells via the Wnt/β‐catenin signalling pathway.

Healthy Diet Choices: Does Internet Use Help Promote Healthy Food Consumption in Indonesia?

open access: yesEconomics of Transition and Institutional Change, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study examines the impact of Internet use on healthy food consumption, captured by the share of healthy food expenditure in total household food expenditure. The inverse probability weighted regression adjustment and Tobit models combined with the Lewbel approach help address the selection bias issues and estimate data of 334,229 ...

Y12C mutation disrupts IMPDH cytoophidia and alters cancer metabolism

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
IMPDH, the rate‐limiting enzyme for de novo GTP synthesis, can form polymers and cytoophidia to enhance activity by reducing GTP inhibition. In this study, a Y12C mutation in IMPDH2 was introduced via ABEmax base‐editing in human cancer cell lines to disrupt IMPDH polymerisation.
