Age‐Related Low Frequency Amplitude Differences in Resting‐State Blood Oxygenation Level‐Dependent Signal in the Cerebellum

open access: yesHuman Brain Mapping, Volume 47, Issue 7, May 2026.
This study found that fractional amplitude of low frequency fluctuations in cerebellar Crus I/II is significantly greater in older adults as compared to younger adults. The higher amplitude in this region is associated with increased connectivity to cortical regions, and may be characteristic of healthy aging.

Search for resonant WZ production in the fully leptonic final state in proton–proton collisions at s=13TeV with the ATLAS detector

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2018
A search for a heavy resonance decaying into WZ in the fully leptonic channel (electrons and muons) is performed. It is based on proton–proton collision data collected by the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 ...

Targeted Delivery of GLUT1 Inhibitor via Macrophage Nanovesicles for Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension Therapy

open access: yesJournal of Extracellular Vesicles, Volume 15, Issue 5, May 2026.
Mac@WZB117 to target M1 macrophage glycolysis, remodel the immune microenvironment, and attenuate vascular remodelling in PAH. ABSTRACT Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is a lethal disease characterized by inflammation‐driven vascular remodelling, with a lack of precise intervention strategies targeting pro‐inflammatory M1 macrophages' glycolytic ...

Using expert elicitation to predict feral cat, Felis catus, responses to management

open access: yesPest Management Science, Volume 82, Issue 5, Page 4488-4498, May 2026.
We generated estimates of lethal feral cat management success for 864 scenarios, only 71 lethal management scenarios met a population reduction target of 57%. Cat‐targeted poison baits, in dry conditions and arid areas were most successful. Feral cat management requires continued adaptive strategies to reduce cat impacts.
