Single Miller capacitor compensated multistage amplifiers for large capacitive load applications
2004 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37512), 2004This work presents two compensation techniques for low-voltage three-stage amplifiers driving large capacitive loads: single Miller capacitor compensation (SMC) and single Miller capacitor feedforward compensation (SMFFC). They are implemented in amplifiers fabricated in standard 0.5 /spl mu/m CMOS technology.

A Super-bandwidth Three-stage Amplifier with Single Miller-capacitor Compensation
2007 International Workshop on Electron Devices and Semiconductor Technology (EDST), 2007A novel super-bandwidth three-stage amplifier with a new stability method are proposed in this paper. It could produce two left-half-plane zeros to compensate the two non-dominant poles and the dominant pole, which makes the amplifier had very large bandwidth and good phase margin. Moreover, only one Miller capacitor is required, and consumes not large

Single Miller capacitor frequency compensation technique for low-power multistage amplifiers
IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 2005Due to the rising demand for low-power portable battery-operated electronic devices, there is an increasing need for low-voltage low-power low-drop-out (LDO) regulators. This provides motivation for research on high-gain wide-bandwidth amplifiers driving large capacitive loads.

Active capacitor multiplier in Miller-compensated circuits
IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 2000A technique is presented whereby the compensating capacitor of an internally compensated linear regulator, Miller-compensated two-stage amplifier, is effectively multiplied. Increasing the capacitance with a current-mode multiplier allows the circuit to occupy less silicon area and to more effectively drive capacitive loads.

Nested miller active-capacitor frequency compensation for low-power three-stage amplifiers
2008 IEEE International Conference on Electron Devices and Solid-State Circuits, 2008A new frequency compensation technique for low-power, area-efficient multistage amplifiers is introduced in this work. By utilizing active capacitors to realize the compensation network in a nested way, two inverting gain stages can be used as the second and third gain-stages. The proposed scheme reaches better bandwidth-to-power and slew-rate-to-power

A new Architecture for two-stage OTA with no-miller capacitor compensation
2012 IEEE International Conference on Circuits and Systems (ICCAS), 2012A new Architecture for two-stage Operational Transconductance Amplifier is presented. In this new structure the pole-zero cancellation technique is used to increase the amplifier band width. The proposed architecture uses a very simple circuit implementation scheme to create a feed-forward path in order to make a zero in voltage transfer function.

A Fast Settling Low Dropout Linear Regulator with Single Miller Compensation Capacitor
2005 IEEE Asian Solid-State Circuits Conference, 2005A 1.8-V, 150-mA fast settling low dropout linear regulator (LDO) with single Miller compensation capacitor is presented. By utilizing the digital-controlled dynamic bias circuit to track the output current, the proposed LDO provides fast settling time for the output capacitors with low and high equivalent series resistance (ESR).

Enhanced DC gain amplifier using no miller capacitor feedforward compensation
2013 IEEE 4th Latin American Symposium on Circuits and Systems (LASCAS), 2013This paper presents an operational transconductance amplifier that uses current mirrors to add a feedforward path in order to do frequency compensation with no miller capacitor. A gain enhancement is achieved because the use of current mirrors reduces the number of the conductances that are connected to the output, increasing output impedance ...

Design of a Three-Stage Amplifier with Single Miller Capacitor Feedforward Compensation
Advanced Materials Research, 2014An efficient three-stage amplifier with a new compensation method called single Miller capacitor feedforward compensation (SMFFC) which is suitable for large capacitive load applications are introduced in this paper. The overall layout area of the amplifier can be significantly reduced without influencing their stability by using a single Miller ...

A Capacitor-less LDO with Nested Miller Compensation and Bulk-Driven Techniques in 90nm CMOS
2021 4th International Conference on Circuits, Systems and Simulation (ICCSS), 2021This paper presents an output-capacitor-less low-dropout regulator (LDO) with nested miller compensation and bulk-driven techniques. The proposed LDO has been fabricated in TSMC 90 nm CMOS technology. The nominal supply voltage of the LDO is 1.8 V and the output voltage is 1.2 V. Bulk-driven technique is used to improve the power supply rejection Ratio
