Three stages CMOS operational amplifier frequency compensation using single Miller capacitor and differential feedback path

Analog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing, 2018
This study describes a new and simple frequency compensation for three stages amplifiers based on revered nested Miller compensation (RNMC) structure. Using only one and small compensation capacitor reduced circuit complexity and die area while shows better performance compared to RNMC.

Robust to PVT enhanced DC gain amplifier using no Miller capacitor feedforward compensation

Analog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing, 2014
This paper presents an operational transconductance amplifier compensated in frequency with a feedforward path implemented with current mirrors. This concept eliminates the need of Miller capacitor and improves performance compared to traditional feedforward topologies in regard to DC gain.

Optimized Active Single-Miller Capacitor Compensation With Inner Half-Feedforward Stage for Very High-Load Three-Stage OTAs

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Regular Papers, 2016
This paper introduces a new effective single-Miller capacitor compensation topology for three-stage amplifiers with very large capacitive loads, realized through an active-feedback capacitor together with an inner half-feedforward stage. Moreover, an optimized design strategy which profitably exploits the two left half-plane zeros is presented.

A Fully Integrated SiGe Optical Receiver Using Differential Active Miller Capacitor for 4.25 Gbit/s Fiber Channel Application

Japanese Journal of Applied Physics, 2007
This paper provides a SiGe optical receiver using new high performance differential active Miller capacitor (DAMC) circuits to replace off-chip capacitors. The fully integrated design can avoid off-chip noise interference. The 4.25 Gbit/s optical receiver was realized in a commercial 0.35 µm SiGe BiCMOS process.
