Robust Miller Compensation With Current Amplifiers Applied to LDO Voltage Regulators
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Regular Papers, 2012This paper presents a general methodology for compensating LDO regulators which exploits a current amplifier to effectively multiply the Miller capacitor. After a general theoretical analysis that takes into account both the external and internal loop stability, it is examined the feasibility of applying this kind of compensation in different LDO ...

Improved single-miller passive compensation network for three-stage CMOS OTAs
Analog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing, 2016A compensation technique for low-power three-stage operational transconductance amplifiers is presented in this paper. The compensation network is made up of passive components and entails only one Miller capacitor. Design equations describing the amplifier behavior for different capacitive load conditions are reported along with three design examples ...

Distortion analysis of three-stage amplifiers with reversed nested-Miller compensation
Proceedings of the 2005 European Conference on Circuit Theory and Design, 2005., 2006A theoretical evaluation of high-frequency distortion of three-stage amplifiers adopting the reversed nested Miller compensation is presented. The inherent computation complexity is reduced by exploiting a suitable amplifier model, and the nonlinear contribution of each stage is enucleated. Transistor-level simulations on a CMOS circuit are found to be

Reversed nested miller compensation with voltage buffer and nulling resistor
IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 2003This paper presents a new reversed nested Miller compensation technique for multistage operational amplifier (opamp) design. The new compensation technique inverts the sign of the right half complex plane zero and shifts the frequency of the complex conjugate poles to a higher frequency.

Adaptive Continuous Resistor for Miller Compensation in IC-LDO Regulators
2018IC-LDO regulators are circuits that play a key role in modern power management and SoC design. They are required to occupy small area, operate with low power consumption and low supply voltage, and perform fast transient response and good load and line regulations. In addition, they must remain stable under extreme variations of the input voltage, load
