An ultra-compact three-stage amplifier is proposed by merging current buffer Miller compensation with parallel compensation, which achieves significant improvement in area efficiency without sacrificing the gain-bandwidth product (GBW) and power. Fabricated in 0.35 m CMOS the amplifier measures 4.98 MHz GBW at 150 pF load while drawing 20 A at 2 V. The

Continual decision‐making dynamics across biological organisms
ABSTRACT Decision‐making is a central function of adaptive behaviour in biological agents. However, strategies for adaptive decision‐making can vary substantially across species. Here, we aim to extend the comparative scope of decision‐making analyses to phylogenetically diverse organisms.

ABSTRACT Tool use research has long made the distinction between tool using that is considered learned and flexible, and that which appears to be instinctive and stereotyped. However, animals with an inherited tool use specialisation can exhibit flexibility, while tool use that is spontaneously innovated can be limited in its expression and facilitated

The effects of human resource practices on firm growth [PDF]
Although the connection between firm growth and labour is well documented in economics literature, only recently the link between human resources (HR) and firm growth has attracted the interest of researchers. This study aims to assess the extent, if any,

Nested Miller compensation capacitor sizing rules for fast-settling amplifier design
The conventional capacitor sizing criterion in nested Miller compensation is aimed at giving a third-order Butterworth response to the amplifier in unity-feedback configuration. However, this approach might not represent the best choice for fast-settling and precise amplifier designs.
