Compact Microstrip NWB/DWB BPFs With Controllable Isolation Bandwidth for Interference Rejection
In this paper, a novel and planar topology, which can be used to design notched-/dual-wideband bandpass filters (NWB/DWB BPFs) with controllable isolation bandwidth, is presented for interference rejection.

Millimeter Light Curve with Abrupt Jump in Cyg X-3 2008 April-May Outburst
Cyg X-3 is a well-known microquasar with a bipolar relativistic jet. Its famous giant radio outbursts have been repeated once every several years. However, the behavior of the millimeter wave emission has remained unclear because of limitations of time ...

The SERS spectra of reporter molecules adsorbed on chiral gold nanorods depends on the handedness of circularly polarized light (CPL‐SERS). The bisignate plasmonic CD spectra of chiral nanorods provides wavelength‐dependent CPL‐SERS. Selective discrimination of chiral nanorod handedness and different Raman reporters allow highly sensitive codification ...

Novel Millimeter-Wave Electro-optic Modulator [PDF]
A waveguide LiNbO_3 electro-optic modulator has been demonstrated with a novel wave-coupling technique which greatly reduces phase-velocity mismatch. An 8-12 GHz version produces 48° phase modulation with 126 mW of drive power.

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.
