mmEye: Super-Resolution Millimeter Wave Imaging
IEEE Internet of Things Journal, 2021RF imaging is a dream that has been pursued for years yet not achieved in the evolving wireless sensing. The existing solutions on WiFi bands, however, either require specialized hardware with large antenna arrays or suffer from poor resolution due to ...

IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 2005
This paper describes the design and modeling of CMOS transistors, integrated passives, and circuit blocks at millimeter-wave (mm-wave) frequencies. The effects of parasitics on the high-frequency performance of 130-nm CMOS transistors are investigated, and a peak f/sub max/ of 135 GHz has been achieved with optimal device layout.

Physics Today, 1950
Electromagnetic radiation, an inexhaustable natural resource, plays an extremely important part in modern technology and living. We use very short wavelength radiation, that is, x-rays, in searching for otherwise hidden defects. We use longer wavelength radiation, that is, light, to see by. We can take photographs with infrared radiation.

Fence guide for millimeter waves
Proceedings of the IEEE, 1971In this paper a new waveguide for millimeter waves called "Fence Guide" is discussed. A description of the guide, the field distribution, and its characteristics is presented.

Millimeter-Wave Integrated Circuits
IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, 1968Monolithic millimeter-wave integrated circuits have been designed and fabricated on semi-insulating GaAs substrates using microstrip transmission lines. Circuits using hybrid techniques have also been constructed on quartz and ceramics. This paper shows that microstrip-line integrated circuits are feasible at millimeter-wave frequencies.

Millimeter Wave Subscriber Loops
IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications, 1983Advantages and drawbacks of using millimeter waves in the telephone and data subscriber distribution network are listed. Fields in which it seems attractive to use millimeter wave loops are examined. For such applications, cost and reliability constraints led to the design of very simple systems.

Millimeter-wave radiometric imaging
International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation Society, Merging Technologies for the 90's, 1990The capabilities of radiometric imaging of the environment with the German Aerospace Research Establishment (DLR) modular linescanner system are demonstrated. Efficient information enhancement algorithms have been shown to improve the data interpretation and evaluation.

MILLIMETER-WAVE SPECTROSCOPY OF METHOXYMETHANOL
Proceedings of the 71st International Symposium on Molecular Spectroscopy, 2016Methoxymethanol (CH_3OCH_2OH), a ten atoms molecule, is a very interesting candidate for the detection in the interstellar medium since it can be formed by the reaction between both possible radicals of methanol: CH_3O (already detected in the ISM) and CH_2OH.

Multibeam Antenna in Millimeter Waves
32nd European Microwave Conference, 2002, 2002This paper deals with a multibeam antenna in 60 GHz band. This structure is based on a Butler Matrix which fed a four printed antenna array. Two different solutions are presented to avoid the crossing point of the microstrip line : a microstrip-thick slot-microstrip transition or two hybrids 90°.
