Proceedings of the IEE Part C: Monographs, 1956
The construction and performance of a pulsed-millimetre-wave magnetron are described. The performance is compared with that of a “parent” valve, using Slater's scaling laws, and with theoretical standards. Some problems encountered in designing the valve and in holding close tolerances on the performance are discussed.

Passive millimetre wave imaging
Electronics & Communication Engineering Journal, 1991The paper discusses the current status of passive millimetre wave radiometry as an imaging technique. The major problems are poor spatial resolution and lack of thermal sensitivity. Techniques for overcoming these difficulties are identified, including the use of aperture synthesis, multichannel receivers, correlation and inverse transform techniques.

Techniques for millimetre-wave imaging
SPIE Proceedings, 2004This paper reviews the formation of an image with coherent and incoherent radiation. It discusses the various mm-wave methods for electronic beam-forming and beam-steering such as phased array, leaky-wave antennas, up-conversion, tapped delay lines and digital beam-forming techniques.

The generation of millimetre waves
Proceedings of the IEE - Part B: Radio and Electronic Engineering, 1955Problems in the generation of millimetre waves are considered, and further study of sparked generators is found desirable. A contribution is made to the simple theory of such generators. Experiments made to verify the theory are not wholly successful, but their evidence, together with that of other workers, strongly suggests that this simple theory is ...

Millimetre-wave spectrum of CF3Br
Journal of the Chemical Society, Faraday Transactions 2, 1982The millimetre-wave rotational spectra of CF379Br and CF381Br have been measured in the ground and low-lying excited states. Analysis of the ground-state spectra has yielded precise values of the rotational and centrifugal distortion constants, as well as bromine nuclear quadrupole coupling constants.

Millimetric Waves Technologies: Opportunities and Challenges
2011Providing an available wideband and better antenna beam forming are two good profits of millimeter wave (mmWave) technology. MmWave technology makes radio systems lighter and smaller and radars more precise. Today, commercial MmWave equipment work below 90GHz frequencies. MmWave radios work to transport Internet traffic in the backhaul of communication

In this paper, the RF and DC performance of AlGaN/GaN HEMT having p-type doping in GaN buffer layer was analysed. Novelty of this work lies in the inclusion of P-type doping in GaN buffer of proposed GaN-HEMT.
