Measurement Matrix Design for Compressive Sensing Based MIMO Radar

open access: yes, 2011
In colocated multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar using compressive sensing (CS), a receive node compresses its received signal via a linear transformation, referred to as measurement matrix.

The Spatially Separated Polarization Sensitive FDA-MIMO Radar: A New Antenna Structure for Unambiguous Parameter Estimation

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2018
Joint DOA-range-polarization estimation with a novel radar system, i.e., spatially separated polarization sensitive random frequency diverse array based on multiple-input multiple-output (SS-PSRFDA-MIMO) radar, is discussed. The proposed array can obtain

Robust Beamforming for ISAC Systems via Probability of Detection Optimisation

open access: yesElectronics Letters, Volume 62, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
We propose a two‐step robust beamforming design for ISAC that maximises multi‐target detection probability while satisfying multi‐user SINR and per‐antenna power constraints. A sensing‐only Riemannian optimisation on the oblique manifold shapes the transmit covariance, followed by SDR‐based reconstruction to enforce communication guarantees ...

Transceiver Design for an FDA-MIMO Radar and MIMO Communication Spectral Coexistence System

open access: yesLeida xuebao
When radar and communication systems share the same frequency spectrum on the same platform, mutual interference may occur. In addition, mainlobe deceptive interferences pose a serious threat to radar target detection.

FDA‐MIMO Range and Angle Estimation Based on Hybrid Tensor Ring and CP Decomposition

open access: yesElectronics Letters, Volume 62, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
The graphical abstract illustrates the RMSE performance of range and angle estimation versus SNR for different array configurations. The proposed method consistently achieves lower estimation error than existing approaches and closely matches the Cramér‐Rao bound across the entire SNR range, demonstrating its superior accuracy.

Low‐Complexity DOA Estimation: Combining VSSLMS With FFT Spectrum Estimation

open access: yesElectronics Letters, Volume 62, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This letter presents a novel, low‐complexity framework for DOA estimation. The proposed method achieves a significant reduction in computational complexity—from O(ML) to O(M log L)—compared to conventional SSE methods. Crucially, as illustrated in the accompanying figure, the method maintains high estimation accuracy, outperforming standard SSE‐based ...

Compact Orthogonal UWB MIMO Antenna With Fractal‐Slotted Design for Enhanced Isolation in 5G‐NR and X‐Band Applications

open access: yesInternational Journal of RF and Microwave Computer-Aided Engineering, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
In this proposal, an advanced integrated multiple‐input multiple‐output (MIMO) antenna system has been presented for next generation 5G‐NR, high speed WLAN and X‐band communications. The four radiators having comb‐shaped geometry at the top edge are positioned orthogonally with each other.

Adaptive channel selection for DOA estimation in MIMO radar

open access: yes, 2017
We present adaptive strategies for antenna selection for Direction of Arrival (DoA) estimation of a far-field source using TDM MIMO radar with linear arrays. Our treatment is formulated within a general adaptive sensing framework that uses one-step ahead

Analysis of Flow‐Induced Vibrations in an Air Compressor Piping System

open access: yesShock and Vibration, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Air compressors are essential to our day‐to‐day life since they find applications in every part of our lives. Compressor systems experience various problems during operation. Vibration is one of the crucial threats to their reliable operation. This study investigates vibration behavior in compressor piping systems using a fluid–structure interaction ...
