Collision‐Resilient Winged Drones Enabled by Tensegrity Structures
Advanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.Based on structures of birds such as the woodpeck, this article presents the collision‐resilient aerial robot, SWIFT. SWIFT leverages tensegrity structures in the fuselage and wings which allow it to undergo large deformations in a crash, without sustaining damage. Experiments show that SWIFT can reduce impact forces by 70% over conventional structures.

Mechanisms of Temperature‐Dependent Hysteresis in Freestanding BaTiO3/MoS2 Heterostructures
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Freestanding ferroelectric BaTiO3 membranes are combined with monolayer MoS2 into 2D field‐effect transistors. At room temperature they provide ultrahigh‐κ gating with steep subthreshold swing and minimal hysteresis. Upon cooling, strong ferroelectric switching produces two stable memory states with long retention times.
