Simple and Effective Visual Models for Gene Expression Cancer Diagnostics [PDF]
In the paper we show that diagnostic classes in cancer gene expression data sets, which most often include thousands of features (genes), may be effectively separated with simple two-dimensional plots such as scatterplot and radviz graph.

The milk metabolome and its potential utilisation for enhanced dairy processing
The milk metabolome can be affected by a variety of different intrinsic and extrinsic factors, which can subsequently affect important parameters of milk quality and processability. This review explores this relationship and provides an overview of the topic of milk metabolomics as an ever‐evolving field of study.

Diversity and Distribution of Amphibians and Freshwater Fishes on Australian Islands
ABSTRACT Aim Freshwater ecosystems cover less than 3% of the Earth's surface, yet support nearly 10% of all known animal species, majorly represented by freshwater fishes and amphibians, both of which are highly threatened groups. Geographically isolated freshwater species, such as those inhabiting islands, are at high risk. Australia, with nearly 9300
