Electromagnetic Radiation Stimulated Learning in Perovskite Nickelates
ABSTRACT Biological plasticity refers to the ability of synapses to strengthen or weaken over time. These adaptive properties play a fundamental role in learning and memory, spanning many orders of magnitude in timescales. Short‐term plasticity (STP) arises from rapid correlative activity, while long‐term plasticity (LTP) is governed by slower ...

The Role of Mind Wandering in Affective States [PDF]
openMind wandering is a common cognitive phenomenon often associated with detrimental effects. However, the existing literature lacks consensus on its precise role in affective states.

A dynamic reconstruction strategy was utilized to construct PtCu/Cu3P heterostructures on the surface of self‐supporting Cu3P nanowires. The loose porosity in the restructured layer, together with a dynamic “dissolution‐redeposition” equilibrium during electrocatalysis, enables the electrode to maintain a low, stable overpotential for 240 h at ampere ...

Donor–acceptor asymmetry modulates conical‐intersection accessibility and topology in bridged stilbenes, providing mechanistic insight into excited‐state deactivation and aggregation‐induced emission (AIE). ABSTRACT A computation‐guided investigation of asymmetric donor–acceptor bridged stilbenes reveals structure–property relationships governing ...

Supramolecular hydrogels enable real‐time visualization of mechanical stress through supramolecular switching mechanotransduction. Adamantane‐modified cellulose functions as a responsive domain that undergoes an on–off transition between hydrated and dehydrated states via reversible β‐cyclodextrin–adamantane complexation and decomplexation.

Does your mind wander? What do you picture when you daydream? Where do you go? How far is too far? How often is too often? When does mental restlessness become impairment? What are the boundaries between pathology and normalcy, a healthy brain versus one

TDP‐43 Aggregation: The Healthy‐Toxic Balance of the Prion‐Like Domain
TDP‐43 function relies on a delicate balance between reversible phase‐separated states and irreversible aggregation. Under physiological conditions, TDP‐43 forms dynamic droplets and oligomers that support normal cellular functions. In pathological contexts, this balance shifts toward aberrant aggregation, leading to toxic species.
