Fine Prediction for Mine Water Inflow on Basis of Visual Modflow [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Oil Gas and Coal Engineering, 2019
Mine water inflow refers to the influx of mine within the mine construction and production process of water per unit time. The amout of water inflow is not only an important indicator of the technical and economic evaluation of mine construction and rational development but also the main basis for coal mining production design department to develop ...

Geochemical characteristics and source analysis of inflow of mine water in Wang’ershan Gold Mine, Shandong

Chinese Journal of Geochemistry, 2008
Through a systematic observation of water level and temperature, and a comprehensive analysis of the data on major/trace elements, nitrite, hydrogen-oxygen isotopes, the conclusion has been drawn that there are two relatively independent groundwater systems (cool water and hot water), and the geochemical indicators of hot/cool waters are described. The

Evaluation of mine water inflow quality based on multiple methods

Journal of Environmental Engineering and Science, 2023
To reduce the negative impact of mine water gushing on the environment, it is necessary to evaluate the water quality. Taking the Pingdingshan coalfield as the research object, six components – namely, chroma, turbidity, total dissolved solids, total hardness, chloride (Cl−) and sulfate (SO4 2−) – were selected as index factors.

Application of analytical solutions to simulate some mine inflow problems in underground coal mining

International Journal of Mine Water, 1984
The paper considers the interaction of ground water flow characteristics, aquifer parameters and mining geometry in order to estimate mine water inflows. The ground water flow conditions include both steady and unsteady state flow in an infinite and finite aquifers to an imaginary pumping out well.

Mathematical modelling for estimation of minewater inflow to a surface mining operation

International Journal of Mine Water, 1988
Estimation of water i nflow to a surface mining operation is a necessary requirement for mine drainage design. The water in a shallow surface mine may originate solely from a surface source and from the atmosphere in the form of precipitation. Water in deep mining excavations below the groundwater table may originate from a surface source or as ...

Prediction of Mine Water Inflow Based on Support Vector Machine

2011 Workshop on Digital Media and Digital Content Management, 2011
The prediction of water inflow is significant to the preventing and controlling water of mine pit. In this paper SVM is applied to the prediction of water inflow, and the workflow and prediction model is given. Combing with the practical demands, a prediction was made about water inflow of a new working face.

Using Multiple Methods to Predict Mine Water Inflow in the Pingdingshan No. 10 Coal Mine, China

Mine Water and the Environment, 2015
To ensure safe mining of the no. 2 coal seam in the Pingdingshan No. 10 coal mine, three methods (analogue, big well, and numerical simulation) were used to forecast mine water inflow and their performance. The big well method predicted the largest water inflow: 233.8 m3/h in the −230 m level and 281.1 m3/h in the −300 m level.

Application of GM Model in Coal Mine Water Inflow Prediction

2015 Seventh International Conference on Measuring Technology and Mechatronics Automation, 2015
The aim of this study was to predict groundwater inflow of Bangladesh Barapukuria coal mine using grey theory. The mine water inflow is affected by geological and hydro geological conditions, precipitation, degree of exploration and mining conditions, as well as many incomplete and synthesis of uncertain or unknown factors, belonging to the grey system.

R/S Analysis and its Application in the Forecast of Mine Inflows

Journal of China University of Mining and Technology, 2006
Abstract In this paper, the status quo and modeling principles of R/S analysis of non-linear theory are introduced and reviewed. Given the hydro-geological conditions of the Wutongzhuang coal mine, Hurst exponents of mine inflow for the main shaft, ventilating shaft and auxiliary shaft were obtained using R/S analysis, which are 0.772 0, 0.824 7 and ...
