To solve the problem of a difficult mathematical modeling and complex parameters tuning of an IGBT-baseinverted mine charging power supply, this chapter adopts simulation technology based on Simulink to establish a nonlinear closed-loop simulation model of a mine charging power supply under conventional PWM (pulse width modulation) control mode.

Some aspects of power supply for mining machines

Journal of electrical and power engineering
The article considers some aspects of power supply of mining machines, namely voltage fluctuations during transient modes. The operating modes of electric drives of mining machines are studied. It is determined that the engines of mining combines overcome peak loads even during constant operation, which is associated with mining and geological features.
