Histovariability and fossil diagenesis of Pissarrachampsa (Pseudosuchia, Notosuchia, Baurusuchidae) from the Upper Cretaceous of Southeast Brazil. [PDF]

open access: yesAnat Rec (Hoboken)
Abstract Notosuchians were key components of western Gondwanan Cretaceous ecosystems in terrestrial predator niches and exhibited remarkable taxonomic and ecological diversity. Previous research has explored their physiology, metabolism, and histology, revealing varied growth patterns and life history strategies.

Boosting Fast-Charging Performance of Ni-Rich NCM9055 Cathodes with Nb2O5 Dual Functional Modification. [PDF]

open access: yesAdv Sci (Weinh)
A dual‐functional Nb2O5 modulation strategy is reported to overcome kinetic limitations in Ni‐rich cathodes. The formation of LiNbO3 phase at the grain boundary of the polycrystalline NCM9055 cathode preserves a radially aligned microstructure and establishes fast lithium‐ion pathways.

Transcriptomic, proteomic and biochemical comparison of luminescent and non-luminescent Keroplatinae larvae (Diptera: Keroplatidae). [PDF]

open access: yesInsect Mol Biol
Transcriptomic and proteomic comparison of luminescent O. fultoni and non‐luminescent Neoditomyia sp show that the substrate binding fraction (SBF) has a similar abundance of hexamerins and the presence of flavin‐dependent reductases. In addition to the high content of keroplatin, SBF also contains considerable amounts of riboflavin and displays ...

Comparative Biocompatibility of Portland-Based Endodontic Cements Containing Niobium and/or Bismuth Oxides in Rat Subcutaneous Tissue. [PDF]

open access: yesBiomed Res Int
Objectives To evaluate the in vitro cytocompatibility and osteogenic potential and the in vivo biocompatibility of two experimental endodontic cements based on Portland cement combined with either Nb2O5 (F6) and/or bismuth oxide (F7) in a rat subcutaneous implantation model. Methods For the in vitro study, MC3T3‐E1 preosteoblastic cells were exposed to
