Single mineral particle makes an electron point source
A mineral (celadonite, kaolinite) nanometer-thick particle deposited on a flat carbon film or at the apex of a carbon fiber provides electron emission at low applied fields. Voltage and time dependences of the emission intensity are studied, and a model of the underlying mechanism is proposed.

The Apollo 15 coarse fines (4-10 mm) [PDF]
A new catalog of the Apollo 15 coarse fines particles is presented. Powell's macroscopic descriptions, resulting from his 1972 particle by particle binocular examination of all of the Apollo 15 4 to 10 mm fines samples, are retained.

Bacteria‐Responsive Nanostructured Drug Delivery Systems for Targeted Antimicrobial Therapy
Bacteria‐responsive nanocarriers are designed to release antimicrobials only in the presence of infection‐specific cues. This selective activation ensures drug release precisely at the site of infection, avoiding premature or indiscriminate release, and enhancing efficacy.
