Unlocking the potential of ‘passive’ modulation: How sensory stimulation shapes hand and face size
Abstract Knowledge of the body size is intricately tied to multisensory integration processes that rely on the dynamic interplay of top‐down and bottom‐up mechanisms. Recent years have seen the development of passive sensory stimulation protocols aimed at investigating the modulation of various cognitive functions, primarily inducing perceptual ...

A Combined Static and Dynamic Analysis Approach to Detect Malicious Browser Extensions
Ill‐intentioned browser extensions pose an emergent security risk and have become one of the most common attack vectors on the Internet due to their wide popularity and high privilege. Once installed, malicious extensions are executed and attempt to compromise a victim’s browser.

Mix‐Max: A Content‐Aware Operator for Real‐Time Texture Transitions
Mixing textures is a basic and ubiquitous operation in data‐driven algorithms for real‐time texture generation and rendering. It is usually performed either by linear blending, or by cutting. We propose a new mixing operator which encompasses and extends both, creating more complex transitions that adapt to the texture's contents.

Abstract Purpose Goldmann size V (GV) test stimuli are less variable with a greater dynamic range and have been proposed for measuring contrast sensitivity instead of size III (GIII). Since GIII and GV operate within partial summation, we hypothesise that actual GV (aGV) thresholds could predict GIII (pGIII) thresholds, facilitating comparisons between

Haptic Interface for Center of Workspace Interaction [PDF]
We build upon a new interaction style for 3D interfaces, called the center of workspace interaction. This style of interaction is defined with respect to a central fixed point in 3D space, conceptually within arm\u27s length of the user.
