Minimal Period Estimates of Periodic Solutions for Superquadratic Hamiltonian Systems
The authors study the minimal period problem for first-order Hamiltonian systems which may not be strictly convex. First, by using the iteration formula of the Maslov-type index theory developed by Dong and Long, the authors obtain a new relationship between the iteration number and the Maslov-type indices.

Constructing the minimal period of homomorphisms into
AbstractFollowing on from the work of Bridges and Hendtlass (2010) [5], we provide geometric conditions under which the minimal period of a continuous periodic homomorphism from R onto a nontrivial metric abelian group contained in Rn can be constructed within the framework of Bishop’s constructive mathematics.

64 Bit Binary Counter with Minimal Clock Period [PDF]
Novel rapid formations of synchronous binary counting with single minimum period of counting for practical counters are developed in this project. A synchronous binary counter is required in many applications since it is rapid, also can help a broad bit ...

Periodic Steiner Networks Minimizing Length [PDF]
AbstractWe study a problem of geometric graph theory: We determine the triply periodic graph in Euclidean 3-space which minimizes length among all graphs spanning a fundamental domain with the same volume. The minimizer is the so-called network with quotient the complete graph on four vertices $$K_4$$ K

In this paper, we obtain three subharmonic solutions with different prescribed minimal periods for a class of second order impulsive differential systems. Our proof is based on level estimates and the least action principle in critical point theory.

Hybrid quantum investment optimization with minimal holding period
In this paper we propose a hybrid quantum-classical algorithm for dynamic portfolio optimization with minimal holding period. Our algorithm is based on sampling the near-optimal portfolios at each trading step using a quantum processor, and efficiently ...

Minimal change of thermal continentality in Slovakia within the period 1961–2013 [PDF]
Thermal continentality plays an important role not only in the basic characterisation of the climate in particular regions but also in the phytogeographic distribution of plants and ecosystem formation.
