String Inspired Singlet Extensions of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
The only allowed Higgs superpotential term at stringy tree level in the string derived Singlet Extensions of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (SEMSSM) is h S H_d H_u, which leads to an additional global U(1) symmetry in the Higgs potential.

Fast and interpretable support vector classification based on the truncated ANOVA decomposition

open access: yesGAMM-Mitteilungen, Volume 48, Issue 1, March 2025.
Abstract Support vector machines (SVMs) are an important tool for performing classification on scattered data, where one usually has to deal with many data points in high‐dimensional spaces. We propose solving SVMs in primal form using feature maps based on trigonometric functions or wavelets.

Restrictions on Parameters of Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model

open access: yesContemporary Mathematics. Fundamental Directions, 2018
Higgs boson with mass mh = 126 GeV was discovered at Large Hadron Collider in 2012. Its mass corresponds both to Standard Model of elementary-particles physics and to the mass of the most lightweight Higgs boson in the minimal supersymmetric Standard Model.

Light Charged Higgs Boson and Supersymmetry

open access: yes, 2001
A possible discovery of a relatively light charged Higgs boson H^+ in near future experiments, with a mass M_{H+} ~< 110 GeV, together with the present LEP2 direct limits on the chargino and neutral Higgs sectors, would disfavour the minimal ...

Visible GeV ALP from TeV Vector‐Like Leptons

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 73, Issue 3, March 2025.
Abstract A model is presented where a GeV axion‐like‐particle (ALP) is predicted in a large portion of the parameter space due to the presence of explicit Peccei–Quinn (PQ) symmetry‐breaking terms in an exotic leptonic sector. The latter provides a solution to the muon g−2$g-2$ anomaly, within the framework of the Linear Seesaw neutrino mechanism.

Light and compressed gluinos at the LHC via string theory

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2017
In this article, we show that making global fits of string theory model parameters to data is an interesting mechanism for probing, mapping and forecasting connections of the theory to real world physics.

Double Copy From Tensor Products of Metric BV■‐Algebras

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 73, Issue 1-2, February 2025.
Abstract Field theories with kinematic Lie algebras, such as field theories featuring color–kinematics duality, possess an underlying algebraic structure known as BV■‐algebra. If, additionally, matter fields are present, this structure is supplemented by a module for the BV■‐algebra.

Searches for direct supersymmetric gaugino and slepton pair production in final states with leptons with the ATLAS detector

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2013
A search for direct production of supersymmetric gauginos and sleptons in final states with two and three leptons is presented. The two lepton analysis uses 4.7 fb−1 of proton-proton collision data at √s = 7 TeV, while the three lepton analysis uses 13 ...

Geometric Relational Framework for General‐Relativistic Gauge Field Theories

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 73, Issue 1-2, February 2025.
Abstract It is recalled how relationality arises as the core insight of general‐relativistic gauge field theories from the articulation of the generalized hole and point‐coincidence arguments. Hence, a compelling case for a manifestly relational framework ensues naturally.

Charge and color breaking constraints in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model associated with the bottom Yukawa coupling

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2016
Testing the stability of the electroweak vacuum in any extension of the Standard Model Higgs sector is of great importance to verify the consistency of the theory.
