We discuss in this note the stickiness phenomena for nonlocal minimal surfaces. Classical minimal surfaces in convex domains do not stick to the boundary of the domain, hence examples of stickiness can be obtained only by removing the assumption of ...

Minimal surfaces with non-trivial geometry in the three-dimensional Heisenberg group
We study symmetric minimal surfaces in the three-dimensional Heisenberg group Nil3 using the generalized Weierstrass type representation, the so-called loop group method.

We prove a general fusion theorem for complete orientable minimal surfaces in $\mathbb{R}^3$ with finite total curvature. As a consequence, complete orientable minimal surfaces of weak finite total curvature with exotic geometry are produced. More specifically, universal surfaces (i.e., surfaces from which all minimal surfaces can be recovered) and ...

On Ribaucour transformations and applications to linear Weingarten surfaces
We present a revised definition of a Ribaucour transformation for submanifolds of space forms, with flat normal bundle, motivated by the classical definition and by more recent extensions.

Plateau problem and minimal surfaces: numerical methods and applications
This article presents an overview of the results of solving the minimal surface equation by numerical methods. Another research task is the application of minimal surfaces in science, technology, especially architecture.

HARMONICS SURFACES OF GRAPHIC TYPE IN R3
In this research we study harmonic surfaces immersed in R3. We dened Harmonic surfaces of graphic type and showed that a harmonious surface graphic type is minimal if and only if it is part of a plane or a helix.

A Hardware Architecture For Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces with Minimal Active Elements for Explicit Channel Estimation [PDF]
Intelligent surfaces comprising of cost effective, nearly passive, and reconfigurable unit elements are lately gaining increasing interest due to their potential in enabling fully programmable wireless environments.

Minimal surfaces and the Allen–Cahn equation on 3-manifolds: index, multiplicity, and curvature estimates [PDF]
The Allen-Cahn equation is a semilinear PDE which is deeply linked to the theory of minimal hypersurfaces via a singular limit. We prove curvature estimates and strong sheet separation estimates for stable solutions (building on recent work of Wang-Wei ...

Minimal surfaces with catenoid ends [PDF]
In this paper, we use the conjugate surface construction to prove the existence of certain non-periodic symmetric immersed minimal surfaces. These surfaces have finite total curvature and embedded catenoid ends, and they have positive genus yet maintain the symmetry of their genus-zero counterparts constructed by Jorge-Meeks and Xu.
