Periodic Solutions for Second-Order Ordinary Differential Equations with Linear Nonlinearity
By using minimax methods in critical point theory, we obtain the existence of periodic solutions for second-order ordinary differential equations with linear nonlinearity.

A Non‐Parametric Framework for Correlation Functions on Product Metric Spaces
Summary We propose a non‐parametric framework for analysing data defined over products of metric spaces, a versatile class encountered in various fields. This framework accommodates non‐stationarity and seasonality and is applicable to both local and global domains, such as the Earth's surface, as well as domains evolving over linear time or time ...

Steklov spectrum and nonresonance for elliptic equations with nonlinear boundary conditions
This article is devoted to the solvability of second order elliptic partial differential equations with nonlinear boundary conditions. We prove existence results when the nonlinearity on the boundary interacts, in some sense, with the Steklov spectrum.

Adaptive Estimation for Weakly Dependent Functional Times Series
ABSTRACT We propose adaptive mean and autocovariance function estimators for stationary functional time series under 𝕃p−m‐approximability assumptions. These estimators are designed to adapt to the regularity of the curves and to accommodate both sparse and dense data designs.

Adaptive Minimax-Regret Treatment Choice, With Application To Drug Approval [PDF]
Suppose that there are two treatments for a condition. One is the status quo, whose properties are known from experience and the other is an innovation, whose properties are not known initially.

A Note on Local Polynomial Regression for Time Series in Banach Spaces
ABSTRACT This work extends local polynomial regression to Banach space‐valued time series for estimating smoothly varying means and their derivatives in non‐stationary data. The asymptotic properties of both the standard and bias‐reduced Jackknife estimators are analyzed under mild moment conditions, establishing their convergence rates.

Sign-Changing Solutions for a Fourth-Order Elliptic Equation with Hardy Singular Terms
The existence and multiplicity of sign-changing solutions for a class of fourth elliptic equations with Hardy singular terms are established by using the minimax methods.

Testing Distributional Granger Causality With Entropic Optimal Transport
ABSTRACT We develop a novel nonparametric test for Granger causality in distribution based on entropic optimal transport. Unlike classical mean‐based approaches, the proposed method directly compares the full conditional distributions of a response variable with and without the history of a candidate predictor.

Remarks on least energy solutions for quasilinear elliptic problems in $R^N$
In this work we establish some properties of the solutions to the quasilinear second-order problem $$ -Delta_p w=g(w)quad hbox{in } mathbb{R}^N $$ where $Delta_p u=mathop{ m div}(| abla u|^{p-2} abla u)$ is the $p$-Laplacian operator and ...
