On Minimum Variance Unbiased Estimators
Abstract The problem of finding minimum variance unbiased estimators of various parameters for parametric distributions is an important one in statistics. This article gives analytical formulas for the minimum variance unbiased estimators of parametric functions, which are usually used in a classroom, for two types of densities.

Minimum variance unbiased estimation in the presence of an adversary
2017 IEEE 56th Annual Conference on Decision and Control (CDC), 2017Consider a setup in which a central estimator seeks to estimate an unknown deterministic parameter using measurements from multiple sensors. Some of the sensors may be adversarial in that their utility increases with the Euclidean distance between the estimate of the central estimator and their own local estimate.

On the Computation of Certain Minimum Variance Unbiased Estimators
It is shown that the technique of Sathe and Varde for finding MVUE's of reliability functions can be extended to the estimation of other functions of parameters by the introduction of an auxiliary random variable. Examples from reliability theory are considered.

On the Definition and Existence of a Minimum Variance Unbiased Estimator for Target Localization
IEEE Signal Processing Letters, 2016The problem of target localization with ideal, binary detectors is considered in one-dimensional space for both the censored and noncensored scenarios. In the censored setting, the problem is equivalent to estimating the center of a uniform distribution, and does not admit a minimum-variance unbiasedestimator (MVUE).

Determination of the minimum-variance unbiased estimator for DC power-flow estimation
IECON 2014 - 40th Annual Conference of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society, 2014One of the most important features of the Smart Grid (SG) is real-time self-assessment which may threat that target power system stability. In order to improve robustness of power systems against such attacks, accurate estimation of the power system operation is required and conventional power flow methods should be upgraded.
