Creep Strain Behavior in Transient Region and Minimum Creep Rate of Tempered Martensitic 9%Cr Steel [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
. The effect of fine precipitates, excess dislocations and sub-boundary hardening on creep strain behavior in the transient region has been investigated for tempered martensitic 9%Cr steel at 600 and 650 o C.

Creep Strain Behavior in Transient Region and Minimum Creep Rate of Tempered Martensitic 9%Cr Steel [PDF]

open access: yesMaterials Science Forum, 2010
The effect of fine precipitates, excess dislocations and sub-boundary hardening on creep strain behavior in the transient region has been investigated for tempered martensitic 9%Cr steel at 600 and 650oC. The fine precipitates that form during tempering or during creep decrease the creep rate in the transient region, while excess dislocations produced

Effect of Post-Processing Heat Treatments on Short-Term Creep Response at 650 °C for a Ti-6Al-4V Alloy Produced by Additive Manufacturing

open access: yesMetals, 2022
Post-processing heat treatments of Ti-6Al-4V parts produced by additive manufacturing are essential for restoring the peculiar martensitic structure that originates from the extremely high cooling rates typical of this technology.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Research on Creep Test of Compacted Graphite Cast Iron and Parameter Identification of Constitutive Model under Wide Range of Temperature and Stress

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
With the increase in engine power density, the temperature and stress carried by the cylinder head during operation also increase. The thermal engine fatigue life prediction of the cylinder head needs to consider accurate and reasonable creep ...

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.
