Orientation‐Dependent Upper Critical Magnetic Field and Density of State for Uranium Ditelluride

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
This study investigates the orientation‐dependent upper critical magnetic field (HC2) and the density of states (DOS) in the unconventional superconductor UTe2. These results reveal an anisotropic HC2, with distinct critical fields along different crystallographic axes, highlighting the role of electronic correlations and spin‐triplet pairing.

A note on quasilinear elliptic eigenvalue problems

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 1999
We study an eigenvalue problem by a non-smooth critical point theory. Under general assumptions, we prove the existence of at least one solution as a minimum of a constrained energy functional. We apply some results on critical point theory with symmetry

Minimum Eigenvalue Based Covariance Matrix Estimation with Limited Samples

open access: yes2024 IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC)
In this paper, we consider the interference rejection combining (IRC) receiver, which improves the cell-edge user throughput via suppressing inter-cell interference and requires estimating the covariance matrix including the inter-cell interference with high accuracy.

Surface Local Impurity Scattering as a Probe for Topological Kondo Insulators

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
Impurity scattering smokes out topology! Recent discoveries in topological quantum materials have rekindled excitement for studying particle and high‐energy physics in a condensed matter physics laboratory. By using a minimal‐orbital correlated electron model, this study sheds light on the topological nature of a Kondo insulator via the local ...

Integrating First Principles Calculations and Machine Learning to Study the ReNiO2/Ti3C2 Heterojunctions for Sodium Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
First‐principles calculations demonstrate that the Re1‐xSrxNiO2/Ti3C2 heterostructure exhibits metallic characteristics, with concurrent enhancement in both electronic conductivity and ionic mobility. Machine learning analysis further reveals that strain, lattice parameters and Sr doping concentration critically influence the conductivity.

Whole‐bone shape of hominoid manual proximal phalanges

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Functional morphologists have long noted that skeletal adaptations in primate phalanges reflect locomotor behavior. While most studies have successfully used two‐dimensional measurements to quantify general features of phalanx shape, a whole‐bone three‐dimensional analysis may better capture more subtle aspects of phalanx morphology that have ...

Frozen Natural Orbitals‐Based Coupled‐Cluster Singles, Doubles, and (full) Triples ‐ A Computational Study

open access: yesChemistry – An Asian Journal, EarlyView.
The frozen natural orbitals (FNO)‐based CCSDT is a cost‐effective approach and provides significant computational speed‐up with rather insignificant errors (standard deviation ∼0.9$\sim 0.9$ millihartrees) – smaller than the CCSDT accuracy limit of ∼1.5$\sim 1.5$ millihartrees.
