The fluidization of certain biomasses used in thermal processes, such as sawdust, is particularly difficult due to their irregular shapes, varied sizes, and low densities, causing high minimum fluidization velocities (Umf).

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

EFFECT OF FLUID VISCOSITY ON FLUIDIZATION HYDRODYNAMICS AN EXPERIMENTAL AND COMPARATIVE STUDY
In this study, we conducted an experimental investigation of the fluidization behavior of spherical glass particles with diameters dp=2 mm and dp=4 mm, using Newtonian fluids (aqueous sugar solutions).

Dimensionless Number Group Analysis of Surface-Treated Powders
Modeling powder properties remains a complex and difficult area of study because particulate materials can behave differently under variable conditions based on their bulk and surface-level properties.

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Hydrodynamic Characteristics of a Fluidized Bed with Rotating Distributor [PDF]
The performance of a novel rotating distributor fluidized bed is presented. The pressure drop and the standard deviation of pressure fluctuations were used to find the minimum fluidization velocity, Umf, and to characterize the quality of fluidization ...

Fluid Biomarkers of Disease Burden and Cognitive Dysfunction in Progressive Supranuclear Palsy
ABSTRACT Objective Identifying objective biomarkers for progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) is crucial to improving diagnosis and establishing clinical trial and treatment endpoints. This study evaluated fluid biomarkers in PSP versus controls and their associations with regional 18F‐PI‐2620 tau‐PET, clinical, and cognitive outcomes.

A Study of Fluctuation and Expansion Ratios for Gas-Solid Fluidized Columns
The fluctuation and expansion ratios have been studied for cylindrical gas-solid fluidized columns by using air as fluidizing medium and Paracetamol as the bed material. The variables were the column diameter (0.0762, 0.15, and 0.18 m), static bed height

Functional and Structural Evidence of Neurofluid Circuit Aberrations in Huntington Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Disrupted neurofluid regulation may contribute to neurodegeneration in Huntington disease (HD). Because neurofluid pathways influence waste clearance, inflammation, and the distribution of central nervous system (CNS)–delivered therapeutics, understanding their dysfunction is increasingly important as targeted treatments emerge.
